Some fucking Jackass on YouTube ripped off my STD's Gotta Catch 'Em All idea. As amature and shitty as my animation was I released my cartoon in 2007, this doorknob released his in 2011. Any other NG artists ever notice your content being ripped off? We gotta stand up for ourselves and make sure no pieces of shit steal our ideas.

As long as he doesn't use any lyrics/pictures/etc from your film, there is no actual proof that he saw your film at all. Or did he?
he uses the exact same chorus 'STD's Gotta Catch 'Em All!!' also his line of 'You do me, and i'll do youuuu STD's!!' is similar to my 'You fuck me, and i'll fuck you STD's'

Yeah, but you are both making fun of the original chorus of pokemon. So he probably is your soulmate after all and came up with the idea after watching pokemon the other day. However, I like your execution more than his.
I had planned on re-making my version because obviously the sound quality and graphics are crap.... but now that his is out... is it too late for me to upload mine? or should i just do it anyway cause i did have the idea first
Well, he has 700k views. I think people wouldn't want to hear nearly the same joke twice, even if you could claim to be more original. I'd advise you to try something fresh and new instead.

I think the guy just had the same idea.
I wrote a spoof song to the poke'mon theme in 2003 or so that I did and posted and took down because I felt i could of done better that has some of the same exact lyrics. The one constant is that not everything you think of is going to be 100% original. Other people will think of it too. Doesn't mean the concept was stolen from you. Just means that great minds possibly think alike. Its just bad luck sometimes. Anyway, my point is this: Its hard to prove it one way or another. So don't get yourself too uppity about it. LIfe is way to short lol.
